A very special and heartfelt thank you goes out to all of you who helped with this year's Annual Dinner. There are always so many people behind the scenes of an event that work so hard to make that event a success. We are so fortunate at our Center to have people that give themselves to help me in so many ways. The Center would not be the great place it is if not for you.

I absolutely hope that all of you have been helping me this year come and enjoy your special afternoon on Monday, November 3rd at 2:00 pm. This is your volunteer luncheon. It is free of charge to you and I promise you won't have to do any work. I am only opening it up to the volunteers this year. It is important that your efforts are recognized and appreciated. This is your special day. Please sign-up in advance at the Senior Center's Volunteer Office.

Also, I want to take this opportunity to mention our flu clinic on Wednesday, October 22nd from 1:30-3:30 pm. You must sign-up in advance. We can't accept any walk-ins. This program is sponsored by the Albany County Deptartment of Health and they bring only a certain number of vaccines. So please call the Center Volunteer Office at 273-4422 to make an appointment. The guidelines for payment are explained in your flyer and on the front page of the website.
